The Kamloops Home Based Business will be hosting its annual showcase of Excellence at the Grand Hall: Thompson Rivers University which is located at McGill Road, Kamloops. The booths are extended to small businesses in the community.

The public is welcome and admission is free. Doors open at 10 am and close at 4pm.

This year the Kamloops Home Based Business Association has moved the Showcase of Excellence to a larger venue. We believe that this reflects the success and momentum that this sector contributes to our growing and dynamic business environment. In this city.

These entrepreneurs stimulate our local economy through their diligent and innovative work. They are your neighbors, families and friends. Home Based Businesses are professionals in every sense. Research evidence as far back as 1997 identified the potential of a modern and flexible workforce. This includes home based and small business and their involvement in stimulating economic growth at a local, national and global level. Kamloops home based businesses are focused on providing consumers with high quality products and services. Their networks and energy have contributed to business outcomes and service to the community.

Home based and small businesses owners represent 45-50% of all businesses in Kamloops. Their continued success is significant in the economic resilience of the city. When they prosper so does our economy. There are approximately 1,200 small and home based businesses in Kamloops, and they are building a brighter future for all of us.
